Voice Activation
Start a dictation with "Hey Glaido" to trigger an AI command with your voice.
Voice activation lets you reach Agent Mode without pressing a separate hotkey. Start a dictation and begin with "Hey Glaido", followed by your command.
How it works
- Start a dictation using any dictation hotkey.
- Begin with "Hey Glaido" followed by what you want. For example, "Hey Glaido, make this more formal" or "Hey Glaido, what's a better word for 'important'?"
- Glaido detects the wake phrase at the start of your dictation and switches the session to agent mode. Everything after "Hey Glaido" is treated as the command.
- The agent response appears in the agent window, just like regular Agent Mode. Press Enter to paste it or Esc to dismiss.
The wake phrase only works at the start of a dictation. Saying "Hey Glaido" mid-sentence won't trigger agent mode; those words simply become part of your dictated text.
Example
Select the text you want the agent to work with first, for example Sarah's email in your inbox. The selected text is sent along as context for your command.
Then start a dictation and say:
"Hey Glaido, write a short, enthusiastic reply to Sarah thanking her for the project update."
Glaido detects the wake phrase, sends your command and the selected text to the agent, and the drafted reply appears in the agent window for you to review before pasting.
