Authentication
Create an account and sign in to Glaido.
You need a Glaido account to use the app. Your account stores your preferences, dictation languages, and formatting rules.
Creating an account
The sign-in screen has a Sign up link, and the password form has a Forgot your password? link. Both open the Glaido web app in your browser rather than a flow inside the app. Finish there, then come back to Glaido and sign in.
Signing in
Sign in from the app with any of these:
Click Continue with Google and follow the OAuth flow in your browser.
Click Continue with GitHub and follow the OAuth flow in your browser.
Enter your email address and password on the Password tab of the sign-in screen.
Switch to the Magic link tab, enter your email address, and click Send magic link. Open the link from your inbox to sign in.
Staying signed in
Glaido keeps your session in the Keychain (macOS) or Credential Manager (Windows), so you stay signed in until you sign out.
Signing out
Click your name at the bottom of the sidebar, choose Sign out..., and confirm with Log out. Your account and data stay on the server.
Managing your account
Click Settings > Account > Manage account to edit your details in the Glaido web app.
