Languages
Choose your dictation languages and the app display language.
Glaido keeps two language settings apart. The dictation language is what you speak. The display language is what the app interface uses.
Dictation languages
Glaido transcribes speech in more than 65 languages, including regional variants like English (US), English (UK), and Chinese (Simplified).
To change your dictation languages:
- Open Settings > Dictation
- Under Language, click Change
- Select one or more languages
One or many
Choose a single language for maximum accuracy. If you regularly switch between languages while dictating, select all of them and Glaido detects which one you're speaking.
Display language
The app interface (menus, settings, and notifications) is available in 14 languages:
English, German, Spanish, Dutch, French, Italian, Polish, Romanian, Russian, Serbian (Latin), Greek, Japanese, Korean, and Chinese (Simplified).
To change the display language:
- Open Settings > Preferences
- Set Display language to your preferred language, or leave it on System default to follow your OS language
Changing the display language does not affect which languages you can dictate in.
