Glaido

Installation

Download and install Glaido on macOS or Windows.

Glaido is a native desktop application for macOS and Windows. It runs in the background and works with any app where you can type.

System requirements

  • macOS 13 (Ventura) or later
  • Apple Silicon (M1/M2/M3/M4) or Intel Mac
  • A working microphone (built-in or external)
  • Internet connection (for transcription processing)
  • Windows 11
  • Microsoft Edge WebView2 runtime (pre-installed on most systems; the installer handles it otherwise)

Download

Download the latest version of Glaido from glaido.com.

Download the installer

Visit glaido.com and click Download for Mac. The .dmg file will begin downloading.

Install the app

Open the downloaded .dmg file and drag Glaido into your Applications folder.

Launch Glaido

Open Glaido from your Applications folder or Spotlight search. On first launch, you'll be guided through the setup wizard.

Download the installer

Visit glaido.com and click Download for Windows. The installer (.exe) will begin downloading.

Run the installer

Open the downloaded installer and follow the prompts.

Launch Glaido

Open Glaido from the Start menu. On first launch, you'll be guided through the setup wizard.

Uninstalling

  • macOS: drag Glaido from the Applications folder to the Trash.
  • Windows: uninstall Glaido from Settings > Apps (or the Control Panel).

Your account and subscription remain active and can be used if you reinstall.
