Turn off Show in Dock to run Glaido in the background, reachable from the menu bar icon and your hotkeys.
Beta features

No feature sits behind this switch right now. The Commands screen, home of built-in commands and custom tools, used to, and it's now in the sidebar for everyone with a Beta badge.
Settings that live on the Dictation tab
Four settings you might expect here are on Settings > Dictation, under Behavior:
| Setting | Description |

| Copy to clipboard | Also copy transcribed text to the clipboard after pasting. Off by default. While it's off, Glaido puts back whatever you had copied before, unless you've copied something new since. |
| Mute background | Mute your default output device while Glaido is recording, then restore it afterwards. Windows calls this Mute system audio. It's on by default on macOS and off by default on Windows. |
| Interaction sounds | Play audio feedback when recording starts and stops |
| Dictation bar location | Controls how high the dictation bar and command window appear above the bottom of your screen: Bottom (default), Raised, or High. Raise it if the bar overlaps a taskbar, dock, or something else at the bottom edge of your screen. |
Re-running setup
To go through the initial setup again, open Settings > Account and click Restart wizard next to Setup wizard.
